Dangerous Goods Training Specialist
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 5 years in the dangerous goods transportation field. Please attach references with your resume.
Must have a minimum of 2 years classroom instruction. Please include a copy of any video or DVD showing you training, if available, and a sampling of student evaluations.
Must be multi-modal in at least 2 modes of transportation; IATA/ICAO, IMDG, 49 CFR
Computer and PowerPoint literate
with a laptop and fax
Must remain current on all
regulatory changes and issues pertaining to our industry and attend
recurrent training annually.
Must be able to communicate
professionally with managers as well as with the person doing the job and
provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
Must have excellent written and
verbal skills. Please send excerpts of training materials you have produced.
Must be able to establish and meet
deadlines.
Must be able to attend to
administrative duties and produce expense reports in a timely manner.
The ability to speak a foreign language would be an asset.
Must be an experienced traveler.
Candidate must conduct themselves
according to DGI’s Code of Ethics.
