DGI has expertise to provide on-site compliance review for single or multiple facilities covering the requirements of 29CFR, 40CFR and 49CFR.

Do I need a Compliance Review? 

1. Are your policies and procedures regarding Dangerous Goods/ Hazardous Materials shipping, receiving and storage up to date and accurate?

2. Are your employees properly trained according to 29CFR, 40CFR & 49CFR in the shipping
   and handling of Hazardous Materials/Dangerous Goods and is your record keeping current.

3. Do you have a safety program in place.

4. Do you have a current security plan.

5. Did you know that if your workplace uses any chemicals for cleaning (bleaches, thinners etc.) you must have a Hazardous Communications Standard in place and on site.  

Services include:

• OSHA: Forklift, Fire Prevention, Hazwopper, Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication, Bloodborne Pathogens, Respiratory Protection.

• DOT: Transportation and Storage of Hazardous Materials, Record Keeping, Driver Safety (Alcohol & Drug), Packaging Certification, Test Reports, DOT Cylinder Requalifier, IBC Testing.

• EPA: Hazardous Waste, Used Oil, Waste Water.

• Civil Penalty Mitigation (conducted by former DOT inspector): Corrective Action, Expert Witness Testimony (depositions, affidavits), Evidence Review, Consult with DOT. Civil Penalties can be reduced or eliminated for a variety of reasons. 

• Security Plan: Develop full Security Plan as required by regulations.

Compliance reviews are conducted at a rate of $185.00 per hour. If an onsite visit is required, a flat fee of $1500.00 per day plus actual transportation and accommodation. Pertinent information is obtained by our auditor and upon completion of work you are provided a written report of findings and recommendations.

DGI specialists can also conduct required compliance training for any topic listed above. Compliance training can be priced per hour or on a project basis.
