IATA
Training is required for any
hazmat employee
who needs to understand how to use the IATA Dangerous Goods
Regulations (DGR). This includes; Shipping personnel who prepare and sign the
shipping papers for air transport, Personnel responsible for classifying
hazardous product, and anyone else who meets the definition of a "hazmat
employee" and who needs to understand how to read and interpret the IATA
Air Regulations.
Which class do I need?
The 3-day Initial
course is designed
for Managers, Supervisors and employees who require a more comprehensive
knowledge of classification techniques, classify multiple hazards, classify
mixtures and solutions (and have to pick a proper shipping name for those
solutions) and ship different dangerous goods together in one package.
The 2-Day
Initialcourse is designed for basic shippers, freight forwarders, third party logistics
entities, carriers and freight brokers who prepare shipments for air transport.
The 1-Day Recurrentcourse is for shippers who prepare dangerous goods
shipments for air transport and who have had previous IATA training within the
previous 24 months. Topics covered include a review of the 3-Day initial
class with an emphasis on updates and changes. Recurrent training is required
every 24 months for IATA.
Recurrent Students take the IATA pretest
Tuition includes:
current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, classroom
workbook, and daily lunch. (Hotel room not included in seminar tuition.)
If you bring your own
2010
edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations you may deduct $100
from the above tuition. This offer valid at time of registration only. The 2010 edition of the DGR is required for this class.

instruction is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day
Enroll: To enroll in a seminar, complete the

confirmation and invoice. All seminars must be prepaid a minimum of 7 days prior to
