Jim has 38 years of extensive international and domestic transportation, logistics, enforcement and emergency response experience. He is a Certified Environmental Compliance Manager (CECM), serves as Associate Staff at DOT/RSPA's Transportation Safety Institute in Oklahoma City and as instructional staff at Texas A&M University's Environmental, Health and Safety Department. He has conducted hazardous materials courses worldwide, resided in the Middle East and Far East for 12 years and is fluent in Arabic, Farsi, German, Thai and Vietnamese. Jim currently serves as DGI's industry liaison to Transport Dangerous Goods Canada (TDG), Secretaria de Comunicaciones y Transporte de Mexico (SCT), and the United States Coast Guard. He has written several training publications on 29, 40, and 49 CFR and the IMDG Code. He is a member of COHMED, COSTHA and NIT League and holds a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering.

Sean's hazmat career started  in 1983 as a Huey pilot in the Army transporting beans & bullets. After ten years of flying with the Army, Sean worked for American Airlines in flight operations at the Frankfurt airport. As Program Manager for Hazardous Materials for World Airways he established company procedures and traveled to southeast Asia teaching World’s procedures and regulations to many contracted airlines and employees.  Sean also worked for Chapman Freeborn in Frankfurt as a traveling flight ops. Sean flew with the aircraft to strange parts of the world responsible for flight ops, cargo, maintenance, catering and anything else the airplane or crew needed. In 1998 Sean joined DGI as the manager of DGI Tech Control, and he has been answering all your hazmat questions ever since.
